Paul Speaks in the Synagogue
In Acts 13, we read of Paul and his companions attending the Synagogue on the Sabbath. After the day's readings were complete, they gave Paul the opportunity to speak a message of encouragement if he had one for the people. Paul stood up and, starting with the history of Israel in Egypt, expounded on the most encouraging message of all - The message of Salvation in Christ! He concluded by presenting them with a choice - The choice to believe and be saved from their sins. We face this same choice today. What will we do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
