An Obituary for a Nation

When the Northern kingdom of Israel was carried in to captivity in 721 B.C. by the Assyrians, it meant the death of a nation.  In 2 Kings 17, God enumerates the reasons for their demise.   In this lesson, we look at six things that God says lead to the death of Israel.  The parallels with our society are striking in some cases.  More importantly, we have to make sure that we in the Church, as God's people, don't fall into the same traps that ensnared Israel.
