The Church in the Real World

All too often, readers of the Bible can make the mistake of seeing the events described as mere 'stories'--historical fiction, things that might have happened to characters.  The truth, however, is that the Scriptures faithfully record real occurrences involving real people, ones just like each one of us.  This lesson looks at Acts 4 & 5, as we are given a glimpse of the real triumphs and tragedies experienced by the early church.
